1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website, used to remember information between requests — most commonly, that you're logged in.

2. Does CodeInFront use cookies, and why?

Yes, exactly one. We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in while you use the Platform. That's its only purpose. We do not use cookies for advertising, marketing attribution, cross-site tracking, or analytics of any kind — because we don't run any of those things on this Platform, for anyone.

3. Do I have to accept it?

The session cookie isn't optional in a meaningful sense — without it, the Platform can't keep you logged in between pages, so core functionality (viewing your classes, opening course content) won't work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but doing so on this site just means you'll need to log in again on your next request.

4. The cookie we use

Cookie namePurposeDuration
PHPSESSIDKeeps you logged in and links your requests to your accountDeleted when you log out, or when your browser session ends

There are no other cookies. No analytics identifiers, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

5. Changes to this policy

If that ever changes — for example, if we add analytics in future — we'll update this page and the table above before rolling it out, not after.
